A SHOPPING expert is encouraging people to race to Matalan for discounted homewares – including a designer dupe that could save you a whopping £89.

With the price of food, bills, and nearly everything else skyrocketing right now, we’re all trying to count our pennies.

But that doesn’t mean we don’t want to keep putting in the effort when it comes to our homes.

Luckily, astute discount hunter Jade has spotted a collection of cheap candles, vases and garden supplies in Matalan, warning shoppers to stock up before they sell out.

She said: “Matalan… coming with summer gifts!”

While strolling around the street store, Jade first spotted a range of nautical-inspired accessories, including the Beige Striped Outdoor Cushion, now just £6.40 each.

She also discovered the four-pack set of Reactive Outdoor Bowls, reduced from £14 to £11.20, and the matching plate set, also priced at £11.20 – ideal for upcoming barbecues.

For boho fans, Jade also recommends buying a few Natural Straw Effect Outdoor Cushions, down from £12 to £9.60 each.

However, the star of the show is the Natural Responsive Candle, now down to just £10.

Online, some have suggested that this could be a scam of the pricey Five Wick XXL Ceramic Candle from Etties Candles, priced at £99.99.

Jade also discovered a variety of outdoor-friendly glassware, including the light blue Ribbed Outdoor Wine Glass. A pack of four will set shoppers back £11.20.

Fancy-looking serving tables are also in stock, with the Wood Effect Melamine Paddle Outdoor Serving Plate having a total steal value of just £4.80.

For those who invite their friends and family to a summer party, the creator has discovered the Glass Effect Drink Dispenser – perfect for Pimms or punches – for £11, 60.

There are also a number of bargain planters available, including the Large Plastic Pebble Planter, now £24, and the Cream Metallic Planter with a Woven Handle for £12.80.

Jade is particularly fond of the Large Pre-Lighted Bulb Outdoor Bonsai, currently £52, which would be ideal for finishing any patio.

Fans love her bargain finds, with her garnering more than 890 likes and 40,500 views.
