I’m a shopping expert & you need to race to Matalan – they’ve got designer dupes including a £10 candle that’s £89 less

A SHOPPING pro is encouraging people to rush to Matalan for bargain-priced homeware – including a designer duplicate that could save you a whopping £89.

With the prices of groceries, bills, and just about everything else soaring, we’re all trying to count our money.

But that doesn’t mean we don’t want to try harder when it comes to our homes.

Luckily, avid bargain hunter Jade has spotted a selection of bargain candles, vases and garden items in Matalan and is warning shoppers to stock up before they sell out.

She said, “Matalan… come through with the summer treats!”

While exploring the high street store, Jade first spotted a range of nautical-inspired accessories, including the beige striped outdoor cushion, now just £6.40 each.

She also spotted the four pack of Reactive Outdoor Bowls, reduced from £14 to £11.20, and the matching plate set, also £11.20 – ideal for those upcoming BBQs.

For fans of boho style, Jade also recommends grabbing a pair of the natural straw effect outdoor cushions, which range from £12 to £9.60 each.

However, the star of the show was the Natural Reactive Candle, now reduced to just £10.

On the internet, some have suggested that this could be a copy of Etties Candles’ expensive five-wick XXL ceramic candle, which costs £99.99.

Jade also discovered a range of outdoor-ready glassware, including the baby blue ribbed outdoor wine glasses. A pack of four will cost buyers £11.20.

Smart looking serving boards were also in stock, with the outdoor wood effect melamine ‘Paddle’ serving platter being a real bargain at just £4.80.

For those inviting their friends and family to a summer party, the content creator has spotted the glass effect drink dispenser – perfect for Pimms or punch – for £11.60.

There were also some cheap flower pots, including the large resin pebble planter now £24 and the cream metal planter with woven handles for £12.80.

Jade was particularly fond of the large, pre-lit, outdoor ball topiary tree, now £52, which is ideal for finishing off any patio.

Fans were delighted with their bargain finds, and their haul garnered more than 890 likes and 40,500 views.
