I’m a stay-at-home mom – my husband pays me $250 a month to clean our house, but he has no idea it goes in my pocket

A housewife has revealed her devious method of getting extra money from her husband.
Briana (@themamabrianna) maintains over 26,000 followers on TikTok with regular posts sharing insights into her family life.
The housewife was dubbed a “genius” after revealing she had made her husband give her extra money every month.
In a clip of them vacuuming their home, Brianna said, “Every first of the month, $250 is taken from my husband’s bank account.
“It’s for our house cleaner. On the first day of every month the house is thoroughly cleaned.
“I asked for a house cleaning years ago when I was pregnant and vomiting 10 times a day while also caring for our one year old.

“My husband said at the time that it wasn’t in our budget.
“But a few months ago he asked me if I still wanted a regular house cleaner.
“Of course I said yes.
“I told him I would prepare everything and that I only need $250 a month in cash to pay for them.
“So he got me $250 in cash every month to pay for house cleaning.”
She said: “What he doesn’t know is that I’m the one who does the thorough cleaning of the house on the first day of the month.
“I just pocketed the money.
“I think I’ll use this money to find a new, expensive hobby. My husband doesn’t seem to mind.
The light-hearted video was captioned, “Anyone have an expensive hobby recommendation?”
She added, “If you feel the need to hide money from your partner to plan your escape, check out the resource in the bio.”
Brianna linked The hotline in her biography. The National Domestic Violence Support Network provides 24/7 tools and support to help those trying to break free from abuse.
Brianna only seemed to be joking that she plans to spend her money on an expensive hobby.
Commenters thanked the housewife for sharing her amusing video and raising awareness of the importance of having your own money.
“My husband and I broke up for a year and he kicked me out. I had next to no money, I wish I had,” said one.
“Sad that I knew straight away it was a way out.
“I say the cleaner is increasing prices to $500 a month starting this month,” wrote another.
“It’s always a good idea to have money to flee from the house just in case you really need it,” added a third.

A fourth commented: “My mum worked part time for a long time to help me and my sister have a normal life while my dad withheld money.
“Eventually she came out.”
