A teacher named Nia was branded a “genius” online after sharing this very clever trick she uses when she forgets the names of her students.

She posted a video on TikTok and explained: “Lifehack #1 – what to do when you can’t remember someone’s name.

“Want to hear a lifehack?”

She continued, “Anytime I don’t know someone’s name, I’m like, ‘You know it’s really hard to say your own name three times as fast because you’re not used to saying your own name? ‘”

Nia captioned the post, “I do this with my school’s students and with people I meet at gigs as well.”

The clip has since gone viral, garnering a pretty impressive 2.7 million views along with hundreds of comments.
