I’m an expert mechanic with 55 years experience – my tip will save you £100s & make sure your battery NEVER runs out

AN EXPERT mechanic revealed how to save hundreds and prevent your car battery from dying.
Scotty Kilmer, who has more than 55 years of experience in this field, made the choice Tick tock to explain the practical hack.
The Engines The expert promised the tip would help motorists “never have a dead battery again.”
He said, “People don’t realize that in a modern car, all the batteries go bad because they use a little bit of electricity just sitting there.”
Luckily, Scotty had the answer in the form of a solar powered battery charger that will keep your car powered up.
All you have to do is connect the charger to the battery terminals at one end and place the solar panel on your dashboard that will collect the energy.
Both the door and the hood should close securely via the thin connecting cable.
Then the sun will charge your car while it’s on the road until you use it.
While a solar charger would take a long time to fully charge the battery, it’s perfect for keeping it going even when the charge level is already decent.
Scotty added, “The sun recharges your battery.”
“If you park your car a lot, you might like one of these chargers… so your battery doesn’t drain when you finally start it.”
Considering that solar chargers sell for around £30 while replacement batteries cost somewhere over £150, this could save you a lot.
social media Commentators were amazed at the useful advice.
One wrote: “Cool. Cars should come preloaded with it.”
Another added: “I have a truck that I drive maybe once a month.
“I try to keep it running often, but sometimes I find it’s exhausted.
“I’ll grab one of these.”
It comes after a Top Gear star explained why, as much as he loves his Tesla, an electric car will never beat his Porsche.
