An interior designer has revealed the worst countertops for your bathroom.

The expert said not only would he never have those countertops, one of them was just plain gross.

Bilal Rehman (@bilalrehmanstudio) shared the video with over 480,000 TikTok followers.

He explained that he would never have laminate countertops: “I can’t believe I’m talking about this again, but for some of you it just doesn’t click,” he said.

“Laminate is cheap and what you save in money you lose in durability and appearance.”

“Nobody wants laminate, it’s gross.”

Next came the tiles: “I would never do those countertops because she doesn’t have time to take care of that grout like she deserves,” he explained.

“They may be trendy and cute, but that’s freaking gross and requires too much maintenance for our busy lives.”

He also advised his viewers to avoid wood: “If I catch you with wooden countertops, we’ll have a problem,” he joked.

“Not only do they hold onto bacteria, but guess what happens to wood when it comes in contact with water… it swells,” he said.

“Your bathroom countertop shouldn’t be a sausage board.”
