An interior designer has revealed the top three colors to paint your bedroom.

Bilal Rehman (@bilalrehmanstudio) shared the video with over 480,000 TikTok followers.

“If you want the room that screams, ‘I’m the Kim Kardashian of the family,’ then soft gray is the way to go,” he said.

“Make sure you choose the right undertone for your gray. Some shades of gray appear cooler and some shades of gray appear warmer.”

“Always match it to your floors, unless your floors are grey, then you’re going to burn your damn house down,” he joked.

The other two colors the designer recommended were jewel tones, which he felt added warmth, and a white with no undertones.

People used the comments to share their opinions on his tips.

Some disagreed with his advice: “I refuse to have gray in my life!” said one commenter.

“Mine is white but also has pastel pink and gamer girl vibes because I have unhealed childhood trauma,” joked another.

“There’s no gray here, I’m all about the shades of white,” said a third.

“You are so awesome, I just love your content.”

“No, because my room is a soft gray,” said a fourth.

“I knew it was a good choice when I made my choice 8 years ago.”
