Taylee Hawkins (@spacesbytay) shared the setup tips with her TikTok followers.

“I would never leave hardware out of fake drawers,” she said.

“I just think it looks better to have hardware on all the drawers in the kitchen,” she explained.

As she ventured deeper into the kitchen, she explained that she would be careful with the placement of the appliances.

“I would never do two full double ovens with a microwave on top,” she said.

“Just because your microwave is so high you can’t reach it.”

Finally, her last tip warned against making a room look too cluttered.

“I would never put decorations above my closets just because I think it looks messy,” she said.

People used the comments to share their thoughts.

“I love it!! But doesn’t it get dusty over the cupboards? What do you suggest instead?” asked one commenter.

“You could always put the closets up to the ceiling,” Taylee replied.

“It’s harder to clean when there’s decor up there, so it’s easier to leave it plain!”

“I’m so glad I saw this video. I just moved into my first house at 21 and didn’t know if I should put stuff on my closets!” said another.

“Thanks for the tip.”
