“I am an interior designer and deal with clients in the USA and Canada on a daily basis.
“I comb through hundreds, if not thousands, of items looking for the best prices.”
She was willing to give up her trade secret, and it was relatively easy.
“[First] You will find the item you have been eyeing.
She used a coffee table from pottery In the USA, for example, it cost $949.
“On a computer, right-click and click Search Image with Google,” she instructed.
“Basically, you get a curated list of all the furniture stores that also carry the same table.
“First you want to find out what the actual name of this item is.
“Most furniture stores carry wholesale brands, which means they buy from a different brand and then change the name and therefore the price.”
She used the example from Four Hands called Me Surround Coffee Table and found the best price at Lulu and Georgia with a price of $749 for this Placida Round Coffee Table.
But don’t rush to check out just yet, she warned. First, see if Lulu and George offer discount codes.
When shoppers purchased more than one item, she suggested purchasing them all in one store, resulting in the lowest purchase prices and the lowest overall retail prices.”
You can also save between ten and 20 percent on shipping costs.
“If you can combine all your purchases in one store, you only have to pay shipping once,” Carmen said.
Some commenters have put together their own discount tips.
This person’s suggestion was typical of others.
“Leave the item in your shopping cart and walk away. Some stores will offer you a discount for your left-behind items two to five days later.”
This person had already tried Carmen’s tip: “I did this and saved $500 on a curved curio cabinet.”

However, this viewer was a bit cautious.
“Great tip. I would just like to add that if something goes wrong or you want to return, please check the reviews on the site as some providers offer terrible service.”
