ONE dad says he could be alone forever — because he refuses to date ugly women.

Kevin, 42, freely admits he has pretty high standards that he doesn’t drop to find love.

He firmly believes that he can only fall in love with the right person who meets all the criteria for him.

And he vowed never to compromise or settle down to settle down.

Machinist Kevin, from Methil, Fife, said: “I don’t go for ugly women.

“I’m not saying I’m Brad Pitt, but I know I can attract sensible women.

“It makes it harder to find someone if you’re only after the high-end performance.

“Their work will be much harder and many other men will probably be after them.

“But I’m just not ready to settle for second best. I realize I could be alone for a long time.”

Kevin has been in a long-term relationship and stayed with a partner, but has been single on and off for the past three years.

He was dating someone he met on TikTok late last year, but he said it fizzled out after just a month.

Kevin quit drinking years ago so can no longer rely on meeting people in bars.

He has used dating apps but is not impressed. He had some success on Plenty of Fish, but Tinder was a flop.

He said: “A lot of women just don’t get in touch with you. The majority never writes to you.

“If you get a message from a girl, I can guarantee you that she’s someone who’s not that good looking.

“I’ve lowered my standards before and I’ve never enjoyed it. I won’t do it again.”

Kevin’s ideal woman is attractive and busty with long hair. He doesn’t like it when it’s set up.

He harbors hope that one day he will find the perfect partner.

He said: “Finding the right person in life is a real thing. I have never met this person. I hope I do.”

But he also admitted that he’s happy to remain a lonely heart until that person walks through the door.

Kevin added, “People always ask me why I’m single.

“I could have a girlfriend. I look decent I make decent money.

“But a lot of men are single because they want to and refuse to settle down. It’s a lifestyle choice.”
