I’m plus-size & trolled for wearing dresses I’m ‘too fat’ for – but I won’t let the haters stop me

A PLUS-SIZE woman shut down haters who say it’s her “too fat” to wear certain clothes.
The body-positive TikToker came onto the platform to show haters that despite rude comments from trolls, she can wear whatever clothes she wants.

Beauty and fashion guru Justi, known as justi_makeup, shows a strong sense of confidence with her body shape in a TikTok video targeting body positivity for plus size women.
In the 34-second TikTok video, Justi tries on a range of curve-hugging and figure-hugging dresses to show off her figure and fight body shaming.
Justi is also a finalist in the incumbent Miss Voluptuous UK 2022 pageant and is using her voice to spread a message of inclusivity both online and in person.
Aptly titled, “Body shaming isn’t okay!” The video begins with a subtitle in the center of the screen that reads, “Clothes I’m not supposed to wear because I’m ‘too fat.'”

In the first half of the video, the pageant contestant wears a plain black sweater and faces the camera for nearly 15 seconds.
She then changes into a few fashion pieces that stun viewers.
The first dress she shows viewers is a white one-shoulder midi dress with a horizontal ruffle and white fabric that falls over the ruffle.
Justi puts a hand on her cracked hip, crosses her legs and has a serious expression on her face as she stares into the camera.
The next dress she quickly transitions into is nude beige with gold tassel detailing throughout the dress and a sheer mesh detail beneath the sweetheart neckline.
Justi has both hands on her hips at first as she poses for the camera before dropping her left hand and banging her other hip.
The third dress she puts on is a bit more fun and form-fitting.
The short garment is a mint green silk fabric with sleeves, a belt to tie, and a plunging fabric near her chest region.
To show her love for the garment, she stretches one leg in the air and confidently leans against the doorframe with one hand on her hip.

The fourth dress she shows viewers is a stark contrast to the others due to its dark black color and more modest appearance.
Nonetheless, Justi strikes in the black off the shoulder midi dress and looks sophisticated and sensual in style.
She strikes countless poses in front of the camera, walking forward with her hands on her hips.
The last piece of clothing Justi shows viewers is a glittery black eye-catcher.
Like the pageant girl that she is, she stands with her hands on her hips on “pretty feet” and takes a few steps towards the camera as if about to walk down the pageant runway.
The body positive advocate ends the video with a shrug and a “whatever” look on her face as a last resort to snub body shamers who say she shouldn’t wear the clothes.

Remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
