In a new video, Jen, who is currently expecting her second child, shared 13 revelations she had in the first trimester.
That includes the side effects she wasn’t expecting — and the fact that everyone will be like, “You don’t even look pregnant.”
She said: “Let’s talk about 13 things in your first trimester that nobody prepares you for.
“Mine just finished and those are the things that totally surprised me.”
Number one is related to food – Jen claims that your cravings are always changing.
“You’ll crave something, eat it, and minutes later be totally repelled by the idea of eating the same thing again.”
On her second point, Jen said, “You’re going to think you’re showing yourself only to realize you’re just ridiculously bloated.
“Pregnancy is like yawning. Once you announce it’s you, everyone around you will announce they’re pregnant too,” was the third thing she claims she wasn’t expecting.
She continued: “When you call to make your first appointment, an indifferent receptionist will tell you to keep your horses for at least a couple of weeks.
“Your partner doesn’t stand a chance against your newly acquired superhuman sense of smell.
“Everything they do will drive you crazy.”
Jen’s sixth revelation was about morning sickness – and the fact that it doesn’t just affect you in the morning.
“Morning sickness is just a euphemism for all-day sickness.
“Until 4pm you only have energy left to cheer for your favorite contestant on the Great British Baking Show.”
On point eight, she added: “You can feel depressed because you feel sick and tired. It gets better.
“Everyone will have an opinion on whether or not you should gender identify — and everyone has strong opinions about it.”
Number ten: “You will catch yourself crying on an online therapy podcast because anything and everything will trigger.
“No chewing gum will be able to get rid of that weird metallic taste that’s now permanently in your mouth.
“People will say you ‘don’t even look pregnant,’ which just means they’ve judged your body.
And finally, for her thirteenth revelation, she adds: “It will pass so slowly, and then one day you will wake up and it will be over so quickly.”
Fans loved the mother’s honesty, with the video garnering more than 48,000 likes and 809,000 views.
In the comments, other moms shared their reactions, with one adding: “Exactly! The bloating is crazy.”
Another said: “This is the best video I’ve seen on this. I’m so conflicted, feeling lucky to be pregnant and sad that I don’t feel like myself. Thank you!!”

A third added: “Anyone else who sneezes a lot? And the cramps are the worst! Feel like stabbing menstrual pain. Why doesn’t anyone warn you!”
Someone else said, “That was the longest 11 weeks of my life.”
