“How rich people reveal their gender,” videotapes started.
Friends and family in attendance counted down to “three, two, one” while the mother-to-be and her partner held a vintage orange Hermes box.
When the time came, she opened it and revealed a pink Birkin bag, which usually retails for more than $20,000.
Appearing in a silk dress, dangling earrings and heels, the couture queen now has a new purse to go with her look.
She jumped up and down, one hand covering her mouth in shock while the other clutched the luxurious accessory, prompting one person to comment that this bag is indeed the “baby” here.
“The only way bag addicts want to reveal their gender,” the caption reads.
The exchange caused viewers to question the meaning behind her excitement and express their thoughts on the costly reveal party.
“Is she happy to have a daughter or is she happy to have this beautiful bag?” one person wondered.
“Oh my! I would be pregnant every year if this was the kind of gender reveal I was doing,” another admitted.
“Okay, someone tell my husband I need this,” the third wished, to the fourth echo, “I deserve this.”
