‘Inbetweeners’ actor Simon Bird reveals his new career 13 years after his role as Nerd Will

INBETWEENERS actor Simon Bird has announced a new career 13 years after his role as Nerd Will.
The 38-year-old actor played the role of Will McKenzie in the award-winning comedy series.
And now he’s changing things up by changing the spotlight and working behind the camera.
Simon is also known for his role as Adam Goodman in the Channel 4 comedy Friday Night Dinner.
He is now the lead director of the new BBC Three sitcom Such Brave Girls.
The Inbetweeners star has been spotted on the set of the series, which is currently filming in Liverpool
The star was also spotted at work earlier this week in the background of one of the Instagram Stories of series lead actress Kat Sadler.
This comes after Simon disappointed fans by revealing he would not be attending a reunion with the Inbetweeners.
But Simon, who starred alongside Emily Atack as well as Blake Harrison, Joe Thomas and James Buckley, hinted there was more to come.
He said The guard This would not come in the form of a series following the seasons aired between 2008 and 2010.
He said: “I’m afraid it’s a harsh no, much better left as a fond memory.”
But Simon, who now stars in the comedy series Friday Night Dinner, teased, “If we all do a third movie for Netflix next year, anything is possible.”
