Preheat oven to lowest or “warm” setting. To make a spiced broth, combine kosher salt, chili pepper seeds, mustard seeds, coriander seeds, dried cumin, and all the nuts in the largest pot you own. Grind the bay leaves in your hands until they are as smooth as possible, then add in the other spices. Pour in 4 liters of water and bring to a boil over high heat.
