THIS is the incredible British beach that supposedly rivals the Mediterranean coast – with a gorgeous sandy beach that people flock to.
The bay has been named a “favorite” by people online, who have praised it and raved about its cleanliness and elegance.
Viking Bay in Kent also tops TripAdvisor’s list of seaside attractions with a whopping 4.5 out of five stars.
One of the nearly 1000 reviewers wrote: ‘This is hands down my favorite part of the Kent coast.
“The beach is big, sandy and clean. People just seem happy.”
Another praised it, writing: “The whole place just exudes class.
“Apart from the very clean golden sand beach, the place is well organized and has some interesting features like the bandstand, gentle cliff walk and even a working cliff lift.”
And after a recent visit, a Kent Online The reporter said, “It felt like I was on vacation in a Mediterranean country.”
The coastline is picture perfect and the view of The Parade beach is a breathtaking sight.
The beach itself has golden sand and is lined with white cliffs and colorful huts.
In the summer, the bay teems with sunbathers and the sand is barely visible beneath a sea of colorful towels.
But when the sun comes out in the off-season, the beach is just littered with smiling locals enjoying paradise on their doorstep.
There are numerous cafes, restaurants and pubs just a stone’s throw from the beach, making it an easy choice for a day trip.
It’s not uncommon for British beaches to be compared to coasts overseas.
A bay is regularly compared to the Algarve in Portugal for the impressive rock formations and brilliant blue waters of its coastline.
There is one island that is often compared to a Caribbean island by those who cannot believe it is in this country.
And another was dubbed “paradise” by holidaymakers and compared to the Caribbean with beautiful blue waters and sandy beaches.
One place in the UK has even been compared to Ibiza for its stunning sunsets and beautiful views.
