Inside the Harry Potter bar in Poland – where themed cocktails are just £5

HARRY Potter fans should start planning a trip to Poland, where they can spend a Hogwarts-style evening at a Potter-themed bar.

Felix Felicis warmly welcomes guests to immerse themselves in the “magical world of magicians” and to get “a foretaste of our elixir of happiness”.

Located in Gdansk, the bar is advertised as a place where “stray wizards” can enjoy a drink, although “muggles are welcome too”.

It is fully stocked with Potter items, making all fans feel at home when travelling.

There’s even Butterbeer, both hot and cold, so it can be enjoyed anytime, whatever the weather.

A cup of the magic brew, which is also non-alcoholic, costs around £3.80 at both temperatures.

Stronger drinks are also available including cocktails priced from £5 to £6.40.

The drinks are all named after concoctions found in the Potter books and films, such as Wolfsbane Potion, the drink of despair and of course Felix Felicis, the drink the bar is named after – aka ‘Liquid Luck “.

Meanwhile, a pint in the bar is around £3.25.

They also sell chocolate sticks, with kids being just as welcome in the bar as older fans during the day.

There’s even Harry Potter Lego to keep the little ones busy.

The pub has a Google rating of 4.7/5 from over 250 reviews.

One visitor wrote: “Magical place! You can really immerse yourself in the enchanted world of Harry Potter for a moment, and after magical drinks and shots, it’s a real journey on a broomstick.”

“My friends and I had a fantastic time and will definitely be back soon.”

Another said: “Any Harry Potter fan will be delighted to visit.”

Believe it or not, Felix Felicis isn’t the only Harry Potter establishment in the country either.

Dziórawy Kocioł, which means “The Leaky Cauldron” in English, offers visitors both non-alcoholic butterbeer and “potions” on its menu.

The potions are served with dry ice to give the drinks an extra dramatic effect.

The café in Krakow is also stocked with plenty of Potter paraphernalia and offers visitors plenty of pastries and sandwiches to enjoy.

Guests can also take home a bottle of Butterbeer as a souvenir.
