Inside the new F1-themed attraction opening in the UK – where you can race your mates

F1 fans can live out their racing dreams at a brand new attraction in the UK.
Visitors can also enjoy cocktails and food while getting behind the wheel of a Formula 1 simulator when it opens in November.
The UK’s first F1 arcade opened in London last November.
Now another event is set to begin welcoming racers to Birmingham and offering the experience to other F1 fans across the country.
Whether you are a newbie or an experienced racer, you can choose your skill level, balancing races between all competitors.
The F1 Arcade The website claims: “There is a rider setting for every skill level, allowing the absolute beginner to ride wheel-to-wheel with the seasoned pro.”
F1 says the new experience is designed to “make everyone feel like a champion” and that the F1 Arcade “brings all the excitement, glamor and thrill of Formula 1 to Birmingham”.
However, the game is the main attraction and is designed to “reward drivers of all abilities.”
The website continues: “We have four different racing modes to suit every occasion and a unique points system that rewards all drivers, not just the best.”
“Whatever you need, whatever you want, there’s racing for you.”
In total there will be 53 of the bespoke full motion racing simulators, custom designed by a leading simulator design company in collaboration with Formula 1.
They will feature both motion and audio-visual effects to help guests become fully immersed in their races.
In addition to the full-motion racing simulators, there will be food and cocktail menus.
Dishes such as Wagyu beef burgers, Spanish sea bass ceviche and wild miso mushroom tacos will be offered alongside an “extensive selection of stylish Formula 1-inspired drinks”.
In addition to racing on the simulators, guests can attend watch parties held in the arcade on Grand Prix weekends.
DJs also perform on the weekends to add even more atmosphere to the facility.
Adam Breeden, CEO and founder of F1 Arcade, said: “Birmingham was the obvious choice to open our second venue in collaboration with Formula 1 and we are delighted to be able to offer the city one of the most sought-after hospitality experiences in the world.”
“Birmingham’s legendary automotive heritage and of course the fact that it was once home to the exciting Super Prix make this city the perfect home for F1 Arcade.”
“We can’t wait to become part of the city’s vibrant leisure scene.”
The new arcade opens on Tuesday November 21st at Paradise, Birmingham.
Bookings are already open via the F1 Arcade website, which can be found here Here.

Meanwhile, the world’s first F1 ride is also set to open in the UK this year.
