Internet turns Adam Levine cheating allegations into memes

Maroon 5’s Adam Levine has been in the hot seat since cheating allegations surfaced earlier this week. But it seems the “Payphone” musician isn’t breaking a sweat.

Levine appeared almost unscathed in the scandal in new photos with pregnant wife Behati Prinsloo. On Wednesday, TMZ released images of the singer with Prinsloo in Montecito, California, with both wearing their wedding rings, exchanging smiles and holding hands.

TMZ reported that “there really isn’t any obvious signs of tension between” the pair, despite recent cheating allegations.

Levine’s professional life also seems unaffected by the allegations. Maroon 5 travels to Las Vegas on October 1st for The Event, a Shaquille O’Neal Foundation benefit, where they will perform alongside HER, Maren Morris, John Mulaney and Pitbull.

The drama began Monday when Instagram model Sumner Stroh, 23, claimed on TikTok that she “had an affair with a man who is married to a Victoria’s Secret model.” She said it was Levine, 43, and shared screenshots of her private messages.

A day later, Levine denied Stroh’s claims of an affair.

“There’s a lot of talk about me right now and I want to clear the air,” Levine said in a post on his Instagram Stories on Tuesday. “I used poor judgment when speaking to anyone other than my wife for ANY type of flirtation. I didn’t have an affair, but I crossed the line at an unfortunate time in my life.”

Levine might have cleared the air, but more women have come forward with allegedly flirtatious messages from the singer.

The Maroon 5 frontman’s DMs recently became an internet meme, with Twitter users altering and applying Levine’s allegedly risqué lyrics video game characters, Danny DeVito and Peter Griffin from Family Guy.

Amid Levine’s alleged infidelity, previous comments he made about cheating also came to light.

When Cosmopolitan magazine asked him, “Why do boys cheat?” in 2009, Levine said, “Monogamy isn’t in our genetic makeup.”

“Cheating people. I cheated,” he said. “And you know what? There’s nothing worse than the feeling of doing it.”
