Interpol Spins ‘Fables’ on Third Single From New Album

Interpol has released “Fables”, the third pre-release single from their upcoming album The other side of faith. According to frontman Paul Banks, the track features one of “guitarist Daniel Kessler’s hottest licks, deep vocals with upbeat lyrics and fun drum beats reminiscent of classic R&B with a look about the golden age of hip-hop. It’s a summer treat and a track we’re especially proud of.”

“Fables” has become a nightly part of Interpol’s set list of the band’s ongoing world tour, as well as songs from new albums “Something Changed,” “Toni” and “Into the Night”. The fifth new track, “Gran Hotel,” made its debut May 11 in Boston and has been performed twice since.

The other side of faith is produced with rock veterans Flood and Alan Moulder and arrives July 15 via Matador.

As previously reported, Interpol is teaming up with Matador’s fellow labelmates Spoon and The Goon Sax for their “Lights, Cameras, Faces” tour later this summer, starting May 25. 8 at Asbury Park, NJ Interpol Spins ‘Fables’ on Third Single From New Album
