iOS 17 moves the button to end phone calls

Phone calls with the iPhone will soon become a little more annoying.
By “easily” I mean very light. That’s because Apple decided to move the end phone call button to the lower-right corner of the screen during an active phone call in iOS 17. It is now located next to all the other buttons used (mute, select audio output, etc.). be in the center of the screen. Before that, it lived below for many years center individual part of the screen.

This is by no means an earth-shattering change, of course, but that doesn’t make it any less inexplicable. The old format worked fine; The other buttons were easily accessible but hard to accidentally press, while the call end button was given a reasonable amount of space given its importance. Now the bottom is all sort of jumbled together, while the middle is conspicuously empty, at least during a voice call.
Of course we will all get used to it within six months.
