IPL 2022: “Why did they keep Tim David on the bench for so long?”

Former Indian opener Aakash Chopra believes the Mumbai Indians (MI) are bottom of the scoreboard due to some confusing decisions their advisory team made at the start of the 2022 IPL season.

All-time winner Tim David has simply sensationalized MI in the last few games. The 44-year-old former player wondered what made the MI bench such a clean hitter in the early stages of the season.

Speaking in a video on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra was also a bit confused about Ramandeep Singh’s exact role in the team. He say:

“They made some questionable decisions, like why leave Tim David on the bench for so long? Ramandeep did a great job, taking nothing away from him. But is that the balance? equal to them?”

Ishan, Rohit will score more than 75 runs: Aakash Chopra

Aakash Chopra likes to make certain predictions while previewing the game. One of such predictions was his statement that MI openers Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma would go well against Delhi (DC).

To this, Chopra stated:

“Ishan and Rohit will score more than 75 runs together. These two teams met in the first game of the season and Ishan scored. This team likes Ishan and Ishan likes this team too.”

Aakash Chopra also talks about why star DC players like David Warner and Rishabh Pant will be in for a must-win game for them. He added:

“Even Warner and Pant will score in more than 75 years. Pant will need to perform if Delhi qualify. Come on now it’s time for the man.”

MI simply has nothing to lose, but they will decide which of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and DC will take fourth place and qualify for the knockout round. RCB fans can be glued to their TVs tonight, supporting Rohit Sharma and his men.
