Iranian drones & speedboats ‘swarm US warship & force helicopters to land’ in chilling clash in Strait of Hormuz

BOMBSHELL footage has emerged showing a US warship being attacked by Iranian drones and speedboats, and the American helicopters being forced to land.
The chilling confrontation between the helicopter carrier and the Iranian Navy recently took place in the tense Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf.
The US Navy arrived in the Middle East last week as part of an announced deployment in support of deterrence efforts in the Strait of Hormuz.
“As we have for a long time, we are coordinating with our partners in the region when it comes to the US military presence, because again, it’s not just the US military out there patrolling the merchant shipping routes.
“We are working as part of a broader coalition … on this effort,” said Pentagon press secretary Brigadier General Pat Ryder.
The Iranian Navy on Saturday released footage of the assault ship USS Bataan crossing the straits, escorted by helicopters.
The boat was also accompanied by the shore dock ship USS Carter Hall with a total of 4,000 crew members.
Iranian media claim that their aggressive efforts by sending warnings, drones and speedboats forced US helicopters to land on the aircraft carrier shortly after takeoff.
The US has increased its naval presence due to the increase in malicious Iranian maritime activities.
Earlier this month, Pat Ryder revealed, “Our hope would be that the trend is down… But ultimately that’s up to Iran.”
“In the meantime, we will do everything we can to ensure security in the region and the continued unimpeded passage of trade through the Strait of Hormuz.”
