Is Bergmite shiny? Spotlight Hour Rewards & Bonuses
We’re now halfway through December and nearing the end of the year, and Pokemon GO continues to have consistent events, most recently the Bergmite Spotlight Hour – but can it be shiny?
The latest Spotlight hour arrives during the game’s Winter Holiday Part One event, continuing this month’s event and wintery theme in-game.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at the Pokemon GO Bergmite Spotlight Hour, if it can be shiny, and the bonuses and rewards throughout the event.
BERGMITE SPOTLIGHT HOUR, DATE, START TIME AND BONUSES
The Pokemon GO Bergmite Spotlight Hour will take place Catch 2 candies for each Pokemon you catch, giving players a great opportunity to catch multiple Bergmites and evolve into Avalugg.
Unfortunately, this is usually the worst bonus of the month, especially when it’s not a highly sought-after Pokemon.
The event begins on Tuesday, December 20th and runs from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time.
CAN BERGMITE BE SHINY IN POKEMON GO’S DECEMBER 2022 SPOTLIGHT HOUR?
Luckily for Pokemon GO players and shiny hunters alike, Bergmite CAN be shiny during the Pokemon GO Spotlight Hour on December 20th.
Bergmite is actually the latest Pokemon to have its shiny form released in the game. It just dropped a few days ago during the Holiday 2022 event on December 15th.
Unfortunately, however, catching Shiny Pokemon during Spotlight Hour isn’t the easiest task, as Niantic doesn’t boost Shiny rates like they do during Community Days, giving players around a 1 in 500 chance of catching the Pokemon’s Shiny form to bump
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?
While the Shiny Bergmite retains its light blue top, the Pokemon’s bottom segment turns yellow. That’s what you’re looking for here.
