fans of the My big fat Greek wedding Movies may not have known that after the first film there was also a TV series! The show served as a continuation of the events of My big fat Greek wedding and first premiered in February 2003. Can the comedy show also be seen on the streamer since the second film is on Netflix and the third is in cinemas?

Unfortunately, the series was short-lived. The show aired in February of that year and ended shortly thereafter in April 2003. The series, like the film, is set in Chicago and follows the newly married couple as they live with their wonderfully large Greek family.

Unfortunately, My big fat Greek life is not streaming on Netflix. The series only aired for seven episodes on CBS. And while we would have hoped the production would be available to watch online on Paramount+, that’s not the case. In fact, there aren’t many streaming options. The only way to see the show is through fuboTV. Otherwise you could too Buy the DVD on Amazon. The entire season is $14.97.

My big fat Greek life In fact, many of the film’s main characters are returning for the comedy series. Nia Vardalos reprises her role, but for some reason her name is changed from Toula to Nia. John Corbett also didn’t return to play her husband Ian Miller.

The role was recast and Steven Eckholdt played him instead. And once again, his name was changed from Ian in the film to Thomas in the series. Otherwise, all the other actors who played Toula’s parents and Aunt Voula are returning. Check out the full cast list below:
