Travis Parker has everything a man could want: a good job, loyal friends, even a waterfront home in small town North Carolina. He’s wholeheartedly striving for the good life — boating, swimming, and regular BBQs with his good-natured buddies — and is vaguely committed to the vague belief that a serious relationship with a woman would only limit his style. Until Gabby Holland moves in next door. Despite his attempts to be neighborly, the likeable redhead seems to have a soft spot for him… and the presence of her longtime boyfriend doesn’t help. Against his will, Travis can’t stop ingratiating himself with his new neighbor, and his persistent efforts lead them both to the brink of a journey neither of them could have foreseen. Ultimately, about the eventful years of young love, marriage and family, The Choice asks us the most heartbreaking question of all: How far would you go to keep the hope of love alive?
