Is the documentary A House Made of Splitters available on Netflix?

Now that the 2023 Oscar nominations are in, more eyes are turning to films being recognized in different categories. And since being nominated is already an honor, many of us who may not have seen or heard of the nominees are now interested. One category to watch out for is the Documentary section, which includes the following A house of splinters.

The documentary takes us to an orphanage in eastern Ukraine as children are expelled from the war-torn country. In the document, a group of social workers try to provide a warm home for children who need one while they await the court’s decision on their fate.

The film isn’t a Netflix Original, but that doesn’t mean the streamer can’t acquire the rights to distribute it. Is the emotional documentary available to watch on Netflix? Below we have the answer for you!

Is A House Made of Splinters on Netflix?

unfortunately, A house of splinters is not currently streaming on Netflix as of January 25, 2023. The film cannot be viewed online on any other platform, nor is it available to rent or buy on demand.

The problem is that the document doesn’t have an American distributor, making it difficult for US viewers to see. For those in the UK, you can currently stream it on BBC iPlayer.

We’ll have to wait and see if any of the many streamers decide to pick up the distribution rights to the Oscar-nominated film. I would hope so since it has received such a prestigious recognition.
