I’ve always struggled with dry skin on my legs, but during the pandemic I knew that had to change. I can’t remember exactly how many oat and aloe body lotions I tried and never tried. My legs were always lacking moisture and longing for a solution that I could never find. That is, until I discovered it the CeraVe moisturizer.

The skin saver is on sale for under $18, so don’t hesitate to stock up. I say this because the The moisturizer makes me want to lather up after every shower, and the shelf friends have never been able to do that for me in the past. And when previous lotions failed for me, I either stuck with them out of necessity or temporarily stopped moisturizing my legs (10 out of 10 wouldn’t recommend this).

No matter the season or whether your skin appears visibly dry, your legs – and the rest of your body – need a reliable, effective, and gentle moisturizer every day. This is a huge lesson I learned after ignoring my dry skin and then finding my holy grail solution. And apparently many other people see it the same way. Over 105,000 buyers on Amazon have given the moisturizer a perfect rating
it has an average 4.8 star rating (!!). The last time I saw something with these marks was, well, never.

“Throw away all your lotions and buy these. I wish I had a bathtub full of them. “I have never seen a cream work so quickly and so well,” wrote one reviewer who has struggled with dry skin for years. “After using it for just a week, my legs are so soft and supple, it’s amazing. I will never be without it.” Honestly, same thing.

You’re probably wondering how the heck this works so well. The most important ingredients in each CeraVe Product are ceramides, which act as a glue that holds your skin cells together. They ensure a healthy skin barrier locks in moisture. And in this special formula, three essential ceramides blend with hyaluronic acid, the almighty water-retaining ingredient. Rounding out the formula is MVE Delivery Technology, which is a fancy way of putting the product releases its super active ingredients that provide moisture around the clock.

Did I mention it’s also multifunctional? You can spread the cream virtually anywhere on your body, from your arms and legs to your face and hands. But it’s really a thing—I’ve never been more excited to slather my body in moisturizer after hopping out of the shower—and that’s saying a lot.

After rubbing this mixture over my arms and legs, they immediately feel silky smooth. Even if I miss a day or haven’t shaved in ages, my skin is still soft and nourished. And if you’re worried about the texture, don’t be. It’s thick but doesn’t leave the skin feeling sticky or greasy. Additionally, the product is non-comedogenic and certified by the National Eczema Association, so even those with particularly sensitive skin can join in on the fun.

“It’s truly a holy grail product,” wrote one Amazon shopper, who gave it a perfect rating. “I barely use anything and it covers my entire face. About a teaspoon-sized drop covers my body!”

After falling head over heels in love with this cream, I may or may not have emptied my pockets for more CeraVe products. The Eye repair cream and that SA shower gel for rough and uneven skin Both work wonders for my eyes and my back respectively. What can I say – I’m a certified CeraVe lover, and you know exactly where to find me as I’ve stocked up on another giant tube of the moisturizer.
