I’ve bought a £1.5k vintage van to live on the road – I’m ripping the insides out because it’s so dirty

The woman went viral after sharing clips of the 1989 Ford she will be turning into her new home.
lindy lived and worked on a remote island in Australia where only five people lived.
But recently she decided that she wants to hit the road and travel.
At the beginning of her journey, Lindy bought some vintage jewelry online at a bargain price.
She said in a TikTok video online, “I just found a $2,000 bill [£1,500] Van on Facebook Marketplace so I’ll pick it up right away.”
“I just hope it’s not too good to be true.”
The bargain hunter said she watched the van’s price drop online when it became clear sellers were desperate to get rid of it.
Lindy said, “So I initially saved this van a week ago and it was listed for $6,500, but over the days I’ve seen the price drop dramatically.”
“The people who sold it needed money for the rent and wanted it gone immediately.”
Lindy had to travel a long distance herself to get the van but was amazed when she finally got her hands on the van.
She said, “So I drove from Death Valley to Las Vegas to close the deal.”

The traveler said she would be making some changes to her new van.
She said, “I’m not going to lie, the inside is a bit dirty and stained, but it didn’t really matter to me because when I bought it I knew I was going to rip the whole thing out.” Mostly the inside, as long as it’s got good bones, nothing else matters.”
However, Lindy confirmed that she would retain some unique traits
She said: “I had no idea what the interior would look like before I picked it up, but it has a really cool full bed that shuts down electronically. The vintage 80’s bottle opener on the back door and a new bluetooth sound system installed by the last owner.”

Lindy has set a budget of £7,800 to refurbish her van.
She said, “I was willing to put $10,000 into the whole build, so I have $8,000 of fun money to put into it.”
