The student strikes the typical pose of a wide, blank stare at the camera, leaving online users stunned and racking up millions of views per video.

“There’s almost nothing I haven’t heard,” McNab told NeedToKnow.online.

“People say all sorts of crazy things about how or what I look like – I’ve got everything from Tim Burton characters, bugs, Nicole Richie, Mr. Bean, Gollum, cartoon characters.”

She continued: “A lot of my comments are usually people thinking I have thyroid problems or Graves’ disease – which I don’t have.

“I’ve been tested in the past, big eyes are just in my genes and it runs in my family.”

The 21-year-old often finds the fun in her unique facial features, captioning TikToks with lines like, “Is my side eye noticeable?” and “the last one is scary.”

Her most popular video is a series of short clips of her staring at the camera that has been viewed 22 million times with 2.4 million likes.

One user commented, “That’s how my mom used to look at me when I was acting in public.”

“Ok listen to me: Mr. Bean’s cute daughter,” said one.

A third joked, “‘The last albeit terrifying’ girl everyone will haunt me,” joked a third.

“Please don’t hurt me,” replied another.

McNab explained, “I find a lot of the comments quite funny. I mean, even I think the things I can do with my eyes and the way I look can be weird and kind of scary, but people love it.”

The TikTok star is now receiving messages from other women and girls who are unsure about their eye size and have been bullied or taunted for it.

But McNab is often told that her “videos help give them the confidence they need.”

“That’s the most rewarding thing for me,” she said.

“I tell them I love having that uniqueness about me that allows me to stand out in a good way – so why not cater to that?”
