Jade Goody would be “over the moon” proud of her son Bobby Brazier on Strictly Come Dancing, says Jack Tweed

Jade Goody’s widower says the belated Big Brother The star would be “over the moon proud” of her son Bobby Brazier for his performance Be sure to come dance.

Jack Tweed was married to Goody when she died of cervical cancer in March 2009, aged 27.

Before her marriage, Goody was involved with TV presenter Jeff Brazier, with whom she had two sons: Bobby (born June 2003) and Freddy (born September 2004).

Bobby Brazier, now 20, is a model and actor who starred in the film EastEnders since last September as Freddie Slater (son of Kacey Ainsworth’s character Little Mo Slater).

Earlier this month, Bobby became the twelfth celebrity to be announced as part of the Strictly Cast in 2023. According to Tweed, his late mother would be delighted at his success.

“Jade would be over the moon proud of Bobby and all that he has achieved,” Tweed said The sun.

“He has already achieved so much for someone so young. Bobby has modeled for Dolce & Gabbana and all the top brands.

“Then he got a job EastEnders and now he appears Strictly. It was nice to see Bobby growing up into such a nice young man.

“He’s absolutely gorgeous,” Tweed continued. “Jade would burst with pride.”

Goody rose to fame with his appearance at Big Brother in 2002, later appeared in Celebrity Big Brother in 2007 and India’s version of the show, Big Bossin 2008.

According to Tweed, the former dental assistant was a big fan of TV talent shows and loved dance shows like “Absolutely”. Strictly.

“She was really talented and a great singer,” Tweed recalled in the interview published on Friday (August 18). “She won TV shows stars in her eyes in 2006 for her amazing voice.

“Whatever Jade sets her mind to, she would be great at it. She would have won Strictly if she had the chance, and Bobby is just like her. Whatever he sets out to do, he achieves it.”

When he was revealed as part of StrictlyIn season 21, Brazier opened up about his eagerness to take part in the long-running BBC dance series.

“I am very happy to be part of it Strictly “I can’t wait to train like a professional dancer and add some moves to my repertoire,” he said. “I’m looking forward to performing in front of everyone, it’s going to be so much fun!”
