Obviously I know Harry more than I know Meghan, but I think it’s really hard to judge, or judge. People handle things and deal with things differently and that’s okay, and you think whatever you think about someone is okay. I don’t know if it’s necessary to speak up the whole time but my experience with them has been nothing short of positive. I have the utmost respect and admiration for Harry, and anyone who has been around him and spent time with him will feel the same way. I think he is a devoted and loving husband and father and what I think they have done [in turning away from royal life] extremely brave and I will always be in their corner. I have nothing but admiration and respect for them. I think it’s really impossible to judge anything.”

Corden also opened up about what’s next for his career-wise and why he’s decided it’s time to move on to his hugely successful series, The Late Late Show. “The easiest thing in the world is to just stay, take the money and move on, but I feel like, ‘I wonder if there’s something else out there?’, he explains. “I just can’t shake the feeling that maybe it’s time. I want to spend more time with my family, and I never want the show to feel like it’s overdone it.” He added, “We really didn’t know where we were going or what we were going to do – those were the things we had to figure out. But it would be nice to have some more flexibility, and that’s cool. There are some things that I want to write about and I hope there are other things for me to do. But we still have a year left in America and I want to make it the best day.”
