Jen Shah is asking the court for a reduced sentence before sentencing

Jen Shah’s sentencing is next month and the reality star is asking the courts for clemency. After pleading guilty to one charge of conspiracy to wire fraud, Jen faces 11 to 14 years in federal prison.
The housewife submitted a letter to the judge entitled “How did I get into the situation?”
“The terrible business decisions I’ve made and the professional relationships I’ve built stem from some personal painful experiences I’ve gone through in my life,” Jen wrote in a letter to the judge, per CNN.
Jen’s attorneys argued that she was not a “kingpin” of the telemarketing scheme and that her sentence should be less than some other co-conspirators. Her lawyers argued that she never had direct contact with the victims. But prosecutors claimed she made up people to target for the program.
“Just as Jen Shah was never a ‘housewife,’ little about her personality and caricature as portrayed by the editors of RHOSLC is real,” her attorneys say.
She only asks for 3 years in prison.
