Jennifer Lopez’s mother ‘prayed’ her daughter and Ben Affleck would reunite for ’20 years’

Jennifer Lopez Mom, Guadalupe Rodriguez, has been hoping for a Bennifer reunion for two decades!
The 78-year-old Puerto Rican native accompanied her daughter on her appearance on the TODAY show, where she revealed she had shot the singer’s reunion with her husband Ben Affleck for 20 years.
“I knew you guys would always get back together because I’ve been praying for 20 years,” the matriarch gushed, to which Lopez just nodded.
As if she’d heard the babble before, the “Marry Me” actress replied, “OK.”
“Jennifer said, ‘Let’s get on with it,'” said the host Hoda Kotb laughed.
In 2022, Lopez and Affleck married nearly 20 years after their first engagement in 2003. The couple called off their wedding when they split in 2004 and started families with different people. Ben walked on Jennifer Garner and welcomed Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11, while Lopez got married MarcAnthony and had twins Max and Emme, 15.
Splitting from their respective relationships, the couple eventually got back together in 2021.

Elsewhere in her performance, the “On The Floor” singer revealed that her upcoming album, This Is Me…Now, will tell the story of their longtime love story from “the moment (they) first got together.”
“I’ve been on an incredible journey through my life over the last 20 years and I think I’ve grown a lot,” she explained. “The album is really about capturing those moments in time. Falling in love and having that moment, and then 20 years later trying to capture what that moment was, which was a whole different thing.”
Lopez continued, “I think when you have life experience behind you, you realize what’s really important. i love what i do That’s what I’ve always said, but having kids has changed that for me. When you’re married, you start realigning everything. What is really important? How much do I want to work? You start to see what [you] want to do with it [your] Life.”
