Jerusalem Attack: Shooting at Synagogue Kills Seven People
JERUSALEM—At least seven people were killed and three wounded Friday night when a Palestinian gunman opened fire outside a synagogue in Jerusalem, in what authorities said was a terrorist attack.
It was the deadliest attack in Jerusalem in years and comes at a time of heightened tensions following a military raid on the West Bank city of Jenin that killed nine Palestinians on Thursday.
