Jim Jones claims the Lox gave him COVID during Verzuz!!
Jim Jones contracted COVID in 2021 and the rapper apparently blames The LOX for contracting the deadly virus.
“I got infected with Covid after the Verzuz. That was the only time I got Covid. The LOX gave me Covid. To make matters worse, I got Covid that evening. I couldn’t win for nothing,” he said at Drink Champs.
The LOX were hailed as the winners of the fight and earlier in the year Capo said he wanted a rematch.
“I don’t think the energy will ever double outside of New York unless we start the rematch, did you hear? It was busy last time. The venue was way too small. There were people on my back. There were people on people’s shoulders,” he told AllHipHop.
“I think we need the respect it deserves to do it in the garden, in the big garden, with adequate security and set up properly so everyone has breathing space. It’s not an excuse, but we need a rematch for City. I’m giving it all up like Rocky after he lost to Apollo Creed… And we’ll be ready like hot spaghetti.”
