Jinger Duggar says her brother Josh Dugger hasn’t changed

Jinger Duggar Vuolo says her brother Josh Duggar hasn’t changed since his arrest and conviction on child pornography charges.

“I haven’t spoken to him in years,” Jinger told Tamron Hall. “I would just pray that he is truly heartbroken about what he has done. So I just pray for the victims and their families.”

She continued, “I think the part of this story that I’m telling is that you can’t set up all these outside standards and rules and say that’s going to do anything. It is not. Your heart needs to be changed from within, and only Jesus can truly change that.”

Josh is currently serving more than 12 years in prison for possession of child pornography. After his release from prison, he will be under the supervision of a parole board for 20 years. Josh is also prohibited from all unsupervised contact with minors, including his own six children.

“I think I keep going through difficulties like this, I think for myself, whenever I’ve been through it, it’s something I look at and say – first of all, my heart just breaks for the victims and their families. And that’s what I pray for first,” Jinger said.
