John Boyega Gives Jamie Foxx Update: He’s Fine!!
British actor John Boyega shared that he finally spoke to Jamie Foxx.
Boyega stars alongside Foxx in They Cloned Tyrone. In his update, he shared that he’s been trying to reach the “Ray” actor for weeks with no response.
“Finally he picked up the phone. Thank you bro,” Boyega told PEOPLE. “He’s fine. And then, you know, we just give him privacy and we can’t wait for him to come back. I conveyed my congratulations directly to him. I wished him well. So I’ll just wait for him to get out of here. So take your time, Jamie. We love you brother.”
Back in April, Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, shared a statement on social media that her father had “experienced a medical complication.” Corinne also requested that her family’s privacy be respected during his recovery.
Fans are still hoping that Foxx will speak to them directly to reassure them that he’s okay.
