Kai Cenat BANNED from Twitch
Twitch faces backlash after Kai Cenat, the platform’s most popular streamer, was banned.
Kai Cenat holds the record for most subscribers to his channel…more than 4.9 million followers.
A message on his channel reads, “This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of the Twitch Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.”
Sources close to Dexerto have revealed that this was due to “repeated explicit simulated sexual activity in GTA,” but fans were quick to point out the many sexually explicit channels on the platform…they say it’s because he is black.
Per Twitch Community Guidelines, sexually explicit content is prohibited on the platform. “To ensure that content on Twitch is appropriate for different audiences, sexually suggestive content is prohibited on Twitch. Ratings of the sexual suggestiveness of a behavior or activity are independent of the user’s attire and are instead based on the overall surrounding setting and context.”
