She said an energy company came and checked her meters and presented her with an £18,000 note.

Katie added: “Then I’ll have another one in a week for £5,000.”

The podcast hosts were in disbelief, prompting Katie to continue: “When we called her they said, ‘Oh no, she hasn’t.’

“So I said, ‘Why am I getting letters saying I did it?’ We’ve now set them up for direct debit so they don’t make a mistake again and can keep sending me letters.

“You fooled me.”

The mother of five has already spoken about how much it costs her to finance her Mucky Mansion.

Last December Katie said she was spending around £3,000 a month on heating alone.

she said The Sunday Times: “I turned the radiators all the way up, but it’s crazy oil The heating bill is three grand every four or five weeks.

Katie bought her £2.2million West Sussex estate from fellow Conservative Francis Maude in 2014.

She recently said about her Katie Price Show Podcast: “I’m still thinking about it rent It’s just too big for me. I’m always in Essex at the moment.

“[I want to] get something smaller. I don’t know. I just think this house is bad luck for me.

“It’s such a good family home, but it’s too big for me. It’s more of an excuse for the kids to make a mess.”

The Sun also told how the mother of five was convinced the property was “cursed”.

A source told us: “Katie always says it’s cursed and bad luck.”

“She hates it and never wants to live there again.”
