Katy Perry unloads Beverly Crest mansion for $18 million

Katy Perry officially leaves Beverly Crest. A few months after selling her guesthouse for $7.475 million, the pop star just demolished her main home for $18 million — the same price she paid in 2017.

The drop in price comes as no surprise. In 2020, she moved to Montecito with her fiance, Orlando Bloom, spending $14.2 million on a 9-acre property.

Built in the 1950s but updated since then, the Regency home exudes dramatic style on 5,400 square feet. Even the entrance is set on top, as huge gates open up to a quarter-mile driveway lined with trees and hedges.

Ivy and oval windows surround the entryway, leading to spaces such as a light-filled gallery, terraced living room and wood-paneled library with fireplace. Another highlight is in the teal main suite complete with fireplace, marble bathroom and garden patio.

Amenities that fill the rest of the floor plan include a gym, sauna, and cold water soaks. Outside, a pool and spa overlook the surrounding gorges.

Brett Attorney for Hilton & Hyland organized the listing. Peter Maurice and Tregg Rustad of Rodeo Realty Beverly Hills represent the buyer.

A Santa Barbara native, Perry has released six studio albums over the past two decades with hits like “Dark Horse,” “Teenage Dream,” and “I Kissed a Girl.” The 37-year-old released her latest record, “Smile,” in August 2020 and gave birth to her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, that same month.
