Kazuha rerun and everything rumored so far
Although Genshin Impact 2.8 is quite far away, there have been a lot of leaks discussing its character banners. Whether they are authentic or not is another story. Still, it’s a topic of discussion that some curious readers might want to see.
It’s more than likely that some of the leaks end up being completely bogus, but it’s nonetheless worth taking a look at what’s popular.
This update is confirmed by miHoYo to arrive on July 13, 2022. That date is also when the first phase of the banners will take place. The second phase is expected to arrive on August 2 or 3, 2022 (depending on whether the first banner lasts for 20 or 21 days).

There are several suspicious Genshin Impact 2.8 banners leaked online, with a prime example above. Obviously, Klee will run again on her own in the early stages, while Kazuha and Yoimiya will run again in the second half.
While there is no concrete proof these are the correct banners, there are some additional leaks that some Travelers may want to see. This additional information has nothing to do with Klee or Yoimiya (as there is no solid evidence for those claims yet), but there are some details about Kazuha.
The above leak refers to Kazuha’s Story Quest, which would be a great fit for the rerun ability. However, it does not necessarily confirm that he will be in phase two. Similarly, there is also a new sword attached to him in Genshin Impact 2.8, which is often an indication of a character being replayed based on past priority (like Albedo and Cinnabar Spindle).
The second half of this leak is also interesting, as the characters never have an in-game Hangout Event unless they’re already playable. Not surprisingly, many of the leaks about Genshin Impact 2.8 focused on Heizou.
Heizou was officially revealed by miHoYo recently and several gameplay leaks have existed for the character. That means he’s already in the Genshin Impact 2.8 beta, so Travelers should expect him to be in the upcoming Version Update. While previous leaks about him being in Version 2.6 were completely untrue, recent gameplay videos have clearly indicated that he will be in the next update.
The gameplay leak above shows that his model and animation are both ready. On a related note, full details of his move set have been leaked, along with information about his Talent Leveling and Leveling Materials. Therefore, he will most likely appear on a banner in Version 2.8.

A leaker (Grandpa Bao) claims that Kazuha’s banner will feature Heizou, while Klee and Yoimiya will run together again. That contradicts the first leak in this article, but many banner leaks like this tend to do just that.
Uncle Chasm is a trusted leaker who announced that Kazuha will be joining Genshin Impact 2.8. This initial leak eventually turned out to be correct until Itto came in Version 2.7 and everything related to 2.6 banners. Unfortunately, this leak doesn’t mention any specific order in which stage Kazuha’s banner will happen.
