Kennywood Amusement Park: Shooting leaves 3 injured, including 15-year-old

WEST MIFFLIN, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — Three people, including a 15-year-old, were injured in a shooting at Kennywood amusement park in West Mifflin, Allegheny County.

According to the investigators, there was a fight between two groups in front of the Music Express ride shortly before 11 p.m. on Saturday.

Shots were fired and everyone ran for cover.

Police say a gun was recovered, but it’s unclear how the gunman got it into the park.

The park’s website states that everyone enters through metal detectors.

The park will remain closed until September 30th.

No arrests were made.
