Khia hates Saweetie sampling of “My Neck My Back”
Khia was asked about artists who sampled her hit “My Neck My Back”… and she admitted Saweetie’s “ICY GRL” is her least favorite sample.
“Least popular would be Saweetie… I don’t like her. I don’t think she lived up to that,” she said.
“When I was young, I didn’t even like green snap peas. Do you like green peas? You know what green peas taste like?” she added, mocking Saweetie’s name.
Khia thought YG and City Girls’ “Pop It” and “F-ck That N-gga” were okay.
“No one has ever done him justice,” she said.
In a recent interview, Saweetie revealed that she will be releasing an album this year.
“[The album] must sound coherent. You know? I feel like a debut album isn’t something you just put out or play with. I don’t know, maybe I’m thinking too much. I’m Cancer, so sometimes I think too much, but I think you have to be really careful with that and I take my art very seriously.”
