Lamar’s reported new girlfriend is Danielle Alexis, a popular Australian actress and model. She starred in the Australian hit series Wentworth.

Danielle has always been open about her trans status. In a 2020 interview with Woman’s Day magazine, she explained, “My original name was Shayne and I was born a boy — and I can finally say that name and feel confident that I won’t be teased.”

“Mum understood and never tried to change me. I grew my hair out, wore colorful clothes, collected My Little Ponies, and danced and performed since I was four years old.
“Dad never supported my feminine aspirations though, and when he bought me a yellow boys mountain bike for my fifth birthday I cried my eyes out and wondered why I was being punished.”

Lamar, a former NBA star, is probably best known as Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband. The two broke up after Lamar started using drugs — specifically crack cocaine.

But he’s clean and sober now, and he doesn’t seem ready to move forward with a new chapter in his romantic life.

Danielle posted a picture of herself and Lamar looking like a couple on Instagram yesterday. Danielle captioned the picture, “One of the most beautiful people I know.” She also posted several heart emojis.

And fans of the transgender actresses seemed to think the picture was confirmation that the two were in a romantic relationship. One fan wrote: “You guys are amazing together! 🔥🔥🔥”. Another chimed in: “You deserve the world and more!!! I’m so happy for you, my absolute bestie 😍😍😍😍”
