Killer nurse Lucy Letby nicknamed ‘Duracell’ by colleagues – as she was always working

KILLER nurse Lucy Letby was nicknamed Duracell by colleagues because she was always working.
A former nurse said Letby seemed “always on the ward” during their work together at the Countess of Chester Hospital in 2015-16.
She said, “People would joke, ‘Yeah, Lucy’s like the Duracell bunny.'”
“It’s terrifying considering she probably worked all that overtime to have the opportunity to kill more babies.”
The former colleague also described Letby as “boring.”
The nurse, who was employed by the NHS Trust as a contract worker, told The Sun: “In late 2015 and early 2016 I worked multiple shifts and I think Lucy worked all but one or two of them.
“Lucy just always seemed to be working. I remember mentioning it one day and a few people joking, “Yeah, Lucy is like the Duracell bunny.”
“Apparently she was saving hard to buy the things she wanted for her house, so she was always offering to work overtime.
“At the time I just thought she was a dedicated nurse who loved her job.
“But now it’s just awful considering she probably worked all that overtime just to be on the ward and be able to kill more babies.”
