Kim Kardashian doubts rebound with Pete Davidson

Kim Kardashian is rethinking her dating choices following her divorce from Ye, formerly known as Kanye West.
On a recent episode of the Hulu reality show The Kardashians, she shared that she had changed her mind about dating Pete Davidson so quickly after the divorce.
“And I definitely jumped into another relationship that quickly,” Kardashian said while sitting with half-sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner. “It took my mind off things.
“And that’s not a way of running away from things — it’s better to cope, heal, and then feel,” she said, before Kendall suggested reversing the order and instead “feel, treat, heal” and the emotions to give priority.
Kardashian and Davidson met in 2019. Months after Kardashian filed for divorce with Ye, she and Davidson began dating in November 2021 following the reality TV star’s hosting debut on Saturday Night Live. During her SNL appearance in October, Kardashian appeared alongside Davidson in an Aladdin-inspired skit in which the two shared a kiss.
After several public appearances in 2021, Kardashian and Davidson made things official in March 2022.
During their relationship, Ye repeatedly denigrated the “SNL” comedian on social media, with comments attacking him on Instagram along with memes and a claymation music video that appeared to depict Davidson’s death. Kardashian and Davidson split in August 2022. Ye has since apologized for the posts.
Kardashian and Ye wed in May 2014 and split in late 2020 just as the rapper and fashion designer’s public meltdown began. Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021. And while the divorce was being worked out in court, in March a judge granted Kardashian’s request to be legally single and drop “West” from her name.
In November, the two agreed to a divorce settlement, split their assets and made decisions about how to raise their children North, 10, together; Saint, who turns 7 next week; Chicago, 5; and Psalm, 4. Kardashian has been vocal about the emotional challenges of her split custody agreement.
At the start of this week’s episode of The Kardashians, cameras rolled on the day their divorce was finalized. Kardashian was seen sifting through a large room full of Yes’ clothes racks from previous fashion work, deciding which items to give away and which to keep.
“I’m really happy with it — there are so many great things that have come out of my marriage and my divorce,” she said, after sorting through boxes full of clothes the couple wanted to give their kids, or a closet full of Yeezys, of which Kardashian said “I held on to the Kanye that I know” and fought back tears.
“I would never take back anything from the hard things that happened or the hard times. I love my life, but it’s time to do something else,” she said, before telling an assistant what things to donate.
While speaking with Kylie and Kendall Jenner about the experience of sorting through Ye’s belongings, Kardashian processed the reasons for storing the piles of clothes.
“I get so emotional or sentimental,” Kardashian said, “but sometimes I’m like, ‘Why am I holding onto this?'”
Kendall responded by telling her she was “hanging on to the reality you thought you were living with.”
“This whole fantasy you created in your head of what your marriage would be like completely morphed into something you never anticipated,” she said while Kardashian listened and nodded in agreement.
