Knowsley: Seven arrested following protest over refugees outside asylum hotel

A schoolboy is among seven people arrested in February during an anti-immigrant riot outside a hotel housing asylum seekers, police said.

Seven men, aged between 13 and 25, were arrested in raids carried out on Thursday as part of an inquiry into riots outside the Suites Hotel in Knowsley on February 10, Merseyside Police said.

They were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, the police said. Another 15 people were arrested during the night of the protest.
