Kodak Black has been placed under house arrest after being arrested last week for having 31 oxycodone pills and nearly $50,000 in cash during a police search.
In documents obtained by XXL, Judge Jonathan Goodman revoked Yak’s supervised release and placed him under house arrest. The rapper was also required to post a $250,000 personal guarantee.
He must wear a monitor and be regularly tested for drugs.
This week, Kodak’s lawyers allege that the 31 oxycodone pills found in his arrest last week were prescribed by a doctor.
Bradford Cohen, Yak’s attorney, told TMZ the rapper has been “battling chronic pain” since he was shot over the weekend of Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles.
Cohen also addressed Kodak’s alleged assault by guards at the Kentucky Federal Penitentiary before his release in 2021. Kodak needs the medication for “persistent pain from the attack.”
Just days ago, his lawyer claimed he wanted the pills tested by a third party.
