Kroger responds to rumor beloved sweet treat has been pulled from shelves and confirms it is no longer available

KROGER has discontinued one of its popular desserts, but it gives hope for the future of the sweet treat.

A Twitter user took to the platform to ask where one of her favorite sugary snacks went.

Arion (@1RiRi1) tweeted to ask about the situation with the company’s Simple Truth Organic Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.

She said: “@kroger – what happened?? Bring these back!”

Kroger responded by asking what store location Arion was asking about.

Arion’s love for this cookie dough was evident when she revealed how many Kroger locations she had contacted.

She said, “Atlanta, Indianapolis, Louisville.

“I was told they were hired.”

Kroger responded, confirming that the fan favorite was indeed discontinued.

They said, “It looks like these items are unavailable.”

Kroger then followed up with a reaction that should make fans optimistic about the return of cookie dough.

They said, “We’ll be sharing your desire to see these again with our product teams.”

The grocery store hasn’t confirmed the return of this discontinued snack, but sometimes brands bring back items due to popular demand.

A Kroger customer decided to switch stores after one of his favorite pickle brands was discontinued.
